Reflection: The Outsiders
When I first heard that we were going to do a final project with the kids in Snow Lake on the book we were reading, The Outsiders, I was all jazzed; just collaborating with them was a first I haven’t seen anywhere else. So I was excited that we were going to do the project with the kids on the other side. But in like in everything in the world, things didn’t translate from paper to reality as well as I planned. At first I enjoyed the idea of working with my partner in
Canada, but then I wasn’t quite as excited as I was. At first, there were technical difficulties, and I wasn’t the only one, so I just blamed the computer. But then when we got that fixed, supposedly, the problem was still there. So, know the problem was that we couldn’t communicate with our partner in
Canada. So the problem was that, with lack of communication we couldn’t talk with our Canadian counterpart, so the project ended up being turned in a little late. Best part in the project, filming the videos with my partner here in
California. Cool experience, better for later on in my working life, and all in all, no grudge and cool project.
